This is the completed finale to Domestic Goddesque’s “The Mail
The ink smeared, became indistinct. But there was no mistaking the handwriting. Susan’s. Her sister. Dark, intense, brooding and brilliant. A Cambridge first with honours. Now gone. Presumed dead. Until now.

“I know what you tried to do. You can’t hide the truth any more. I’m coming home. For Christmas.”

  1. Now that’s really frightening. I was hoping others would do the same ones I chose – to see how differently they could be interpretted. I’d like to read the rest of the novel you’ve just started :).

  3. Wow! That’s good. I love that it is in direct contrast to the ending that Midlife Singlemum did… and yet, they are both brilliant. I can also see how these writing prompts can spark ideas for larger works. Very cool.
